Here is the original thread with more info in it....maybe it can be moved here by one of the mods?

Done . . . .

BTW, if there are any other previously-posted pertinent 4x2 threads throughout the forum that would be best served by being here, let me know and I'll do what I can to move them over.

Re: Leveling the 4X2 FJ....Easy and Cheap

I replaced my 4x4 suspension with OME Heavies.

I'll be selling my 4x4 stock suspension in a few weeks. I need to get some stuff in order before I do. I have a lot to sell

I took FJDAVE's advice also. Got a set of 4x4 springs/shocks from HomeDad for a great price ( free!!! ). Had them installed and levelled my truck out in the front. I got almost 2'' of lift from the 4x4 springs. I didnt take a picture of what it looked like before, but here is one after.

no one seems to be checking if they have them installed on the correct side.

driver side should be yellow and green paint on the coil and passenger side should be green and grey. make sure this is what you have or its wrong. the driver side is supposed to be firmer. just trying to help you all out so you dont make the mistake I did.

Re: Leveling the 4X2 FJ....Easy and Cheap

Does anybody know for sure if the 4x4 rear suspension is different than the 4x2's?

The back of my FJ is sagging a little bit and want cheap solution.

Re: Leveling the 4X2 FJ....Easy and Cheap

Yes, it absolutely is higher up with the 4x4 suspension. You'll find some threads on here that have the measurements. For the 4x2, the 4x4 suspension is a nice upgrade...
