jtmroczk some decent tires would help you alot. Nice to see a 2wd tackle some rough terrain.

I reserve this spot for future wheeling photos of my Taco.

Re: off-road action shots! post em up!

I'm the only one without a roof rack in this one....taken on the Salt Lake in Mojave Trail:

Here I am after a water crossing (last one, heading west on the trail) on Mojave in Barstow - again, the one in front without a rack:

Again, water crossing:

And finally, my "little" 4X2 taking Dead Man's Draw - something no one thought I'd be able to make:

There....that should hold ya fer a spell....

hey, you forgot about all this stuff the 4x2's made it through at Mojave.

and my favorite...yes this pic is not a 4x2 but all the 4x2's made it up this muddy, snowy, torn up hill...some without lockers!

I road along with zoshyii on this run but im sure my 4x2 would have made it as well because his and 2 others made it fine. dont let anyone ever tell you your 4x2 cant make it up something. most of the people on this forum rely too heavily on their 4 wheel drive and have never even given their fj a chance in 2 wheel. half the fun is being challenged and 4x4 on all the time doesnt really allow this on most trails.

Re: off-road action shots! post em up!

That hill got a little scary, because you had to AIM your front wheel right AT the big bump in front of the tire of the FJ in the pic! But Nala was unfazed by it and just went right up it! She had her "Auto LSD" on for that one! It's fun to do this stuff in 2wd after being told that you won't make it because some 4wd's were having a hard time getting up. Don't tell Nala she can't do something, she just might prove you wrong! ( I did tell them to have a line ready just in case.)
