Ok, I'm curious now, about what gas mileage are yall getting with a 3" lift? Did ya lose any mpg?

I'm still getting 17, same as without a lift. Keep in mind I drive in Los Angeles traffic every day....

Since I drive about 28,000 miles a year, I have seen the good, bad and ugly days. I keep track of every gas receipt and calculate it out via Excel Spreadsheet.
Best: 25MPG (stock, cruising around 60 mph)
Worst: 14MPG (stock, Mojave road)
Average: 21MPG (stock, occasional traffic and speeding)

After bike racks: 20MPG
Icon 2" lift: -1MPG
Skid, Sliders: -0MPG
285/70/17 Tires and steelies: -2MPG
Demello bumper: -0MPG
-------------

17MPG average

Re: OK, so now how many of us 4x2s have done a lift??

Any Pre Runners have a 3" Rough Country lift? I have been thinking of purchasng this lift. It has a top load spacer up front w/ new coils and shocks for the rear. I can get a real good price from the vendor and install myself. Then we will see if it will fit in the garage.

Re: OK, so now how many of us 4x2s have done a lift??

You guys and gals are doing some remarkable things with your 4x2s.

I know some of you have replaced the 4x2 suspension with a stock 4x4 suspension. I haven't posted in the For Sale section, because I don't know what kind of interest there is in doing this, but I've got a full stock 4x4 setup cluttering my garage if anyone's leaning that direction.

Again, most impressive with the 4x2 builds...

One of our Hurricanes is looking at the RC 3". PM Nate and you guys might be able to compare notes.
