OK, so now how many of us 4x2s have done a lift??

When I said to my dad that I was putting a 3" lift on my FJ he asked me WHY??? Are you going to jump mud puddles in New Orleans? I know Wrigman has done his so how many of us are there out there that have and how many want to?

I have never done a survey before, may have to give it a try on this one.

I have a friend here on the forum that has the 6" RC and his rig is AWESOME! I have the 3" OME and just love it to pieces. The ride is so much better than stock and I feel TOUGH. My husband just laughs but he bought if for me for Valentine's Day.

Go for IT!

BTW my brother retired from the Air Force as a Crew Chief (I think it was Chief). He was a poster child for the USAF and now writes Terrorist drills at Shaw (Civil now not Military).

Re: OK, so now how many of us 4x2s have done a lift??

Finally a place I belong.

I did the 3" OME lift with new shocks in the rear and went cheap in the front and just got springs. About 8 Months later I was able to afford the tires I have always wanted. When I got the FJ I did not know what I was getting into... But I am very happy with my ride as is. A long list of mods so far and more to come.
