Are any of you 4x2's going to Ouray?

T and I are not going this year but I was wondering how many of you guys were going to make it. Are there things to do at Ouray/trails there that the 4x2's can do? I am thinking about next year, that's all. I would love to drive out to Colorado. That just sounds like an awesome drive.

Re: Are any of you 4x2's going to Ouray?

I'll be in Ouray! This will be my third trip to Ouray in my FJ2WD.

Lifted with Donohoe....er..Icon struts, rear locker, ARB sliders and BFGs:

I have done Engineers and the entire Alpine Loop, Corkscrew and Calif Gulch, Imogene, Ophir, and Yankee Boy and some others. All are accessible with good conditions. Wet or ice conditions adds some challenge. The rear locker is essential I think. I have attempted some trails with it off and lost traction.

Haven't attempted Black Bear...yet. hope its open and dry this year!

Ouray has plenty of challenges for all!

Next year if all goes well. Last year could not schedule it in. This year we have a new born. I know Katfish will be attending with newborn. Hat goes off to her.
