I only just noticed them. Was almost ready to buy when I realized they won't work on 4x4 (was like 'where does the CV go through? oh, wait, 2wd'). Look awesome, though:

I guess the major difference here, apart from them looking crazy beefy, is that the wheel hub gets mounted like 3.5" further up (or down, depending on your perspective), so there's more ground clearence from the lower control arm. I guess that's also why they say you can run with much larger tires (from their website):

The tower includes a tapered bung that offers a pocket to access the aftermarket uniball conversion nut or thefactory ball joint. Yea i ordered a set after talking to Pat at total chaos. They are down and moving during the holidays but looking forward to the install. He said they have sold many sets for tacomas but he hasn't heard any fj yet. Will have to learn how to post pictures eventually.
