Considering the majority of us run a tire wider then 265 i would say we are out of luck. My tires are to big for the sok.

I've seen this one pop up before.

Looking at it, I doubt it will outperform even AT tires. They might help for sedans with high performance tires though.

Pantyhose for your tires.........Consumers reports tested them in this last issue. They say they do work. But.... only to get you out of a jam. You can't drive with them unless you are on snow, otherwise they will get torn up and destroyed. They are a good, short term, light duty solution for a certain part of the driving public. They're light weight, easy to put on & off, and apparently do work.
