attention bentup slider owners...

bentup's website leaves a little to be desired in terms of information, so i am left with a few questions.

A: is bentup the only place you can get them?

B: how much was shipping?

c: i assume they are unfinished--does bentup powdercoat? and if so, how much extra?

No, you can get the original bent ups at Welcome to Trail-Gear Inc. Trail gear is also a supporting vendor. Ask for Chris, He'll take care of you.

B: how much was shipping?
Shipping is included in the order $300 out the door

c: i assume they are unfinished--does bentup powdercoat? and if so, how much extra?

They are unfinished. Most people who wheel will just spray paint them because it's easier to fix rock rash with spray paint then it is to re powder coat.
Soon Trail gear is suppose to offer sliders that are already powder coated for the same price (which includes shipping). Contact them for more info.

Visit their website for pics of the sliders. Good luck

Re: attention bentup slider owners...

Bentup has a vendor nearby that powdercoats for them.
They did mine, and Bentup shipped them to me.

About $89 to powdercoat them I think it was.

WRONG.....Bentup is the ONLY place you can get BENTUP sliders. Trail gears are just a copy of AJ's design...and it IS slightly different. Look closely at the angles. They are different, but similar....

So I got sriders instead of sliders?

Will they only work for Chinese rocks?

Re: attention bentup slider owners...

Freaking doesnt matter. "ones a knock off" or not. They are both built with PURE quality in mind. Ive got the TG's because the price was right. I still cant believe theyre making a profit on these. VERY nice job.
Its funny how we can all cry and moan over silly things when in reality we are so bloody fortunate to have a plethora of fine suppliers offering us incredible materials and designs for our FJ's.
There are better designs (for someone's opinion), but whether its worth the extra $ is up to you. Im not picking on anyone here, but want to point out that you really cant go wrong with any of the available products out there.
