Hella Lights

Hella 500, Hella 500 Driving Light Kit, Hella 500 Lights, Hella 500 Amber Fog Kit, Hella 500 Clear Light Covers

Anyone had any experience with Hella lights?? These dont look to bad for 62 bucks... but it makes me wonder why the Piaa and IPF conterparts are about 3 times this much?? Ive heard Piaa harnesses are about the best you can get. Hella harnesses any good?

Re: Hella Lights

Have had them on my 92 for almost 8 years....no bulbs replaced yet and they work great. The cover caps did become brittle and have been gone for almost 3 years.....

I am putting them on mine soon! Best bang for the buck....I think....IPF's are good....but dang the price! Same for PIAA's.....

Re: Hella Lights

Hella Rallye 4000s are the only way to fly!!! They are pricey, but worth it. I run 2 cornering beams and a euro beam on my Land Rover. They are quite a bit larger than the 500s, but I think they will look nice on an FJC. I also recommend the clear rock guards. They run around $100 ea unless you splurge for the Hella Rallye 4000 HIDs which are near $700 ea.

Re: Hella Lights

No thanks, I'm a PIAA man, I'll pay the difference to get'em. I love the 510 series and the 520 series! On my previous vehicle I ran two Fog's(520's) and two driving(520's), and i would light up the road! Another company to consider just for fun is KC though, they are the company that has the trademark happy face light covers. Not sure of quality, but i can tell you that they are bright!
