The bumper is done. I am just waiting on the final element...the FJ.
Figured with all this work I might just actually post up some additional photos for those of you who seem desperate or have any questions. Seems alot of people dont have any pic's of this system dismounted.
This is the bumper via the AP Group Purchase, and is truely amazing the craftsmanship that was put into this design. The winch is the Warn M8000 with synthetic line. The PIAAs are 580 Clear Xtreme Fogs.

Drilled/Ground out an access hole for the winch controller. Came out sorta "hack", but is completely secure and works to keep things set straight. Was impress when the cables fit without any pinch or stress at all. Clean instal all around. VERY easy mod to the design:

Pic of the "D Ring" mounts:

Want to figure something to put in this space (besides the winch hook):

As you can see while the All Pro bumper is considered "tight" by some there is ALOT of room remaining for installation or various items. Honestly, I wouldnt consider this thing "tight". Nice to have some breathing room for the winch and more airflow for other things that get hot.

I really like the all pro bumper but I wish they had made the large light loops extend out to protect the signal lights. Does anyone make one with this protection?

That is going to be one lucky FJ when it arrives. Nice job on the assembly.
What did you use for coating?
My Dirty Little Secret Recipe...
4 coats of Rustoleum Automotive Primer, and 2 coats Rustoleum Professional High Performance Industrial Enamel. Flat Black all around. Figured that'd help the little "rusties" at bay.
Looks Good! Which is good news since I have almost the exact same set up going on my FJ next weekend, only difference is the small light hoop instead of the big
I have the PIAA 580's and Warn M8000. My Bumper should be here tomorrow, and hopefully the synthetic line will be here by the weekend. And thankfully, I already have the FJ!
Seeing your pics clears up my control box dilemma, just need to make sure there is enough space to get your hand up in there to plug in the control when the bumper is mounted.
Also have you given any thought as to how to run the wires for the lights? I was kind of hoping that the light hoop was hollow and allowed the wires to run inside it and into the bumper so they could be hidden. The concept of "Zip Tying" them to outside of the hoop doesn't sit right with me, but it looks in your pics like internal wiring won't be possible.

Alphonse

I was actually thinking about drilling some retainers along the tubing to keep the wiring harness "tucked" away without the zip tie effect. Though will probably just route the wires straight through the front grille to avoid having to drill. I dont see why this wont work fine. I did BTW have to redrill the AP control box mounting bolts (the bottom ones) to get teh M8000 box to fit right. Its all super easy access.

i would say that without a doubt, you can run your wiring thru the tube. looks like you just have to drill a small hole where the plates bolt together. i did this on my 1950 triumph chopper, ran all the taillight wiring thru the 1/2" sissy bar and believe me, you have got a hell of a lot more room in this application. one thing i learned is that it helps if you can figure out how to disassemble the connectors on the end of the wires so you can drill a smaller hole, then just put it back together after you fish it thru!

Indeed its VERY easily possible, but I dont know if it'd be worth the extra stress. This is high grade steel and loves to eat a healthy meal of bits. Ive done this kind of work on bikes as well. On a bike aesthetics are a must, but on an FJ? Its expected to be a little crude. If you do do this make the smallest holes possible like nog00der said.
