Powdercoat Vs Spraypaint

I can see why people want powdercoating, and I have a bias towards using spraypaints (I made a living powdercoating for a few months). Seems as though many dont know what they are getting into with thier decisions. I will refrain from the discussion to keep from skewing any more than needed.

What say you the FJ community?

Powdercoat Spraypaint

Re: Powdercoat Vs Spraypaint

if you're your yer yore yor going to beat it up spray makes sense. Easily scratched but easily brought back to life. Powder is more durable day to day, but beats up just as easily as paint off road. Powder doesn't fix so easily and costs lots more.

spraypaint here, for all the reasons said above. Cheap to do, cheap to fix, looks just fine.

Re: Powdercoat Vs Spraypaint

Rustoleum Auto Primer and Black Hammerfinish paint... The hammerfinish easily hides touch up areas and imperfections in the metal.
