Having a 4WD FJ in this part of Florida is a bit of a challenge. I love my ride and the piece of mind it gives me to know that I can go pretty much go anywhere, and surmount many obstacles, especially before or after a Hurricane.
However, according to the owners manual, the FJ must have the 4WD engaged for at least 10 miles a month to keep it lubricated. Being such a flat, environmentally friendly, State it's hard to find an unpaved area to exercise the 4WD. Well, I finally found a place that's only 15 minutes from home. It's a wilderness preserve owned by the State. $3.00 per person and you can drive on the trails, or use the shooting range, all day. There are miles of easy, yet unpaved, trails for 4-wheel drive vehicles. We saw 2 alligators, many large exotic birds, and spiders as big as your palm

. I cannot believe that this has been in my backyard for 4 years and I didn't know it existed. Of course I couldn't have done it in a Trans Am or Camry / Corolla Demo.
I didn't take too many pictures because I was too busy sightseeing and having fun.
I did discover that sand gets as rig pretty dusty.
The place we visited was the Bab**** / Webb Wildlife Management Area.
