Warn x8000i

Any thoughts on this winch? I have acquired one of these that has seen little use, it was used as a backup inside of a custom car-hauler. The line has a couple kinks, other than that, everything looks pretty clean and in good shape.

I have the Warn bumper set, so it fits just fine, even being a little tall.

Can't go wrong with a Warn. Since you saved money on buying one, replace your line with a nice synthetic line!

Re: Warn x8000i

Exactly what weavinfj said. Warn is a great product and I am happy to see that more FJ'ers are starting to run them (I came from Jeeps where Warn was used 90% of the time). I will be running the new Warn 9.5cti-s on my FJ.

If the line is kinked replace it please. Synthetic is the way to go!

Re: Warn x8000i

def. replacing the line, synthetic sounds good considering the bumper/winch combo is easily over 200lbs.

Also make sure it uses contactors instead of solonoids.
