I sure hope it's for the lights on top of the bumper...... ARB always includes the lights within the bumper with the bumper purchase.
Guess not, now you get to buy both

Re: ARB Bull Bar Pre-Orders!

ARB includes the turn signals with the bumper, but the round fog lights are not included. They actually do this with some of their other new bumpers as well.

Re: ARB Bull Bar Pre-Orders!

That's good enough for me. I just didn't want to spend $200 on the turn signals.

I may pass on the "inside the bumper" driving lights. I figure I will have IPF's on top of the bumper and the rack mounted lights - that's probably enough.

I'm not sure that your "i" model will fit in the bumper. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the ARB bumpers are designed for winches with remote solenoids and don't have the clearance on top for the integrated solenoid. Not 100% sure but look into it.:
Yeah, I am afraid you are probably right. When I installed it into my 4Runner bumper which is smaller then the FJ bumper we had to plasma cut the hole between compartments larger. This is of course because the 9500i has a larger diameter motor on it (high speed winch). I am hoping I can do the same with the FJ bumper. Not doing any modifications is of course preferred.

Re: ARB Bull Bar Pre-Orders!

Alright, we get the info from the source now thanks for stopping by Steve-o. Hey I didn't place a credit card down but I'm still #1 on that list right. Hey the one thing that most of us want is info so anything and I mean anything is appreciated. If you get something like install instructions or diagrams and post it you will be the hometown hero and of course all of us at work...."working" will use company equipment to print out this stuff.

And as AIR would say "any more pictures?"

Cool light kit, what model are the IFP's?

Re: ARB Bull Bar Pre-Orders!

Lets see to get that bar with both lights that $1000 + shipping/ tax $1175. Now add in the fog lights at $299 + $329 bar mounted lights = $680 +shipping. $1875 with no install so easily a $2000 upgrade. I think we need to get Steve-o on board with the whole supporting vendor and begin to ask for forum discount. I understand initially you would be lucky to get the bumper so that's off the table but the lights are in-stock everywhere.

Re: ARB Bull Bar Pre-Orders!

I like Man E Frea alot because of their service and selection. But they have never been known to cut deals at least in my experience. I bet they are making $500+ a bar but we really have no choice at this point.

Re: ARB Bull Bar Pre-Orders!

A couple of these would be nice. Only $670 bucks a piece......

Hella Rallye 4000 Motorsports HID Euro Beam (007560542) $670

Take your auxiliary lighting to new levels with the Rallye 4000 Motorsports HID Euro Beam. This unit draws the power of a 35w bulb but emits the light output of a 300w bulb. The light emitted is also whiter than that emitted from a halogen bulb and closer to the color temperature of natural daylight. Each HID Euro Beam comes standard with HID capsule, wiring harness, ballast, and mounting hardware. Stone shield not included.

Re: ARB Bull Bar Pre-Orders!

We are complaining about the $30,000 price tag (some will pay less, other more) for the FJC. Now comes a $2,000 after-market option, a skid plate to protect the front grill (some call a Pull Bar, others a fancy bumper). I can't get past the fact that this thing is 6.67% (1/15th) the cost of the total vehicle. It has no moving parts, doesn't play CD's, doesn't recline, and you can't sleep on it (on the plus side - tot grease washes off easy enough). I agree it would be nice to have a more substantial front bumper, but the price is ridiculous. Also, no money has been spent to upgrade the back bumper yet.

Maybe I'm just too conservative? Where's those darn trolls when you need em.
