Custom True Push Bar!!!

This is my first forum post here. I got my FJ 3 weeks ago and have been working on this push bar since. It's not done but here are some photos

this is one of the 2 arms that holds the cross bar. It's made from 4" wide 3/8" steel flat bar.

this is the bar welded up. As you can see I welded a 1" strip of .25" flat bar to the edges of the 3/8" arm. This creates an I-beam structure to make the entire bumper more rigid.

I have plans to make an upper mount to the back of the big bar to fully support the bar for impact but I will see if its necessary since it might be rigid enough on its own.

I wanted to keep a stock look with some strength of a steel bumper.

This is what I need, I seem to always need to push something around. My poor plastic bumper is all mushed and crumpled from moving dumpsters and stuff like that.

Very cool! What model LED lightbar is that? How wide? Also, if you do plan on pushing with that, i'd look into some kind of upper support as well.

Edit: sorry, i just read that you might be doing just that.
