Re: The "No Cut" A-TRAC + RR DIFF Hack.

My Scangauge had 2 codes. I cleared them and the lights went away. I did a rescan and everything was good.

If you don't need to know "why" you got the check engine light (for some reason, all the other lights come on when that happens too when that happens), just disconnect the positive clamp on your battery, wait 2 minutes and reconnect.

If it's a minor or temporary problem, the check light should go away If not, you've got a "real" problem and need to buy a OBD reader or go to your dealer/shop to find out what the OBD code is to determine the problem.

Good luck!

RR Lock and A-TRAC only work in 4LO, from the factory and after this mod.

Re: The "No Cut" A-TRAC + RR DIFF Hack.

Hey thanks for the great write up, I just did this tonight and everything turned out great. Took just over 30 min to do, and everything seems to be working fine. I am going out wheeling tomorrow and we'll see how well she works.
Again Thanks,
Alan

Re: The "No Cut" A-TRAC + RR DIFF Hack.

Has anybody reversed this and stuck pin 11 back into the connector? If so, what's the trick?

I did this hack almost 2 years ago and had a difficult time getting pin 11 out. Now I can't seem to get the pin back in. I've been fiddling around trying to get the pin back in for more than an hour.... and I'm feeling pretty stupid...

(I'm having problems with both my rear locker and ATRAC and want to get this back to factory setting before taking it in...)

Re: The "No Cut" A-TRAC + RR DIFF Hack.

Just tried this method. Whew, it was hard getting the pin out of the harness! Everything is connected, but I don't have Atrac anymore . Any ideas? I've tried it with the fuse and without and neither gave me atrac!
