All I have to say is these FJ's suck in the mud. Seriously though, I don't know if any vehicle would have made it thru this hole. It was up to my front bumper and frame and rock rail on the passenger side, and both axles were buried. Thanks to my friend and his Duramax for getting me out.
Oh, yeah. That looks like good southern mud. It immediately coats the tires so you are essentially driving racing slicks off road. Gotta have self cleaning treads (MT's) and/or bucket loads of momentum to get through that stuff. (the second technique sometimes breaks stuff)

just wondering if your wheels that were spinning in the mud got all scratched......like somebody took sandpaper to them while they were spinning.......I had my front end burried the same as you did and the mud took the finish right off my wheels.....I can supply a picture if u wanna see what i'm talking about!
they actually dont suck in the mud, you just tried a hole that you sat your FJ on its frame. we've seen atrac inch an fj out of a big mud hole last week and 10 fj's (some stock) fording through 2-3ft mud holes at allatoona today.
