Winch in Factory Bumper

I saw a photo somewhere that showed a winch installed on a FJ with a factory bumper. Anyone know who's it was, or know how they did the install?

Here is another one. He is also waiting for the King suspension. This was custom made by www.allphaseoffroad.com to fit the customers winch.

That is sweet, I wouldn't mind that. Let's add yet another mod to the list...

Re: Winch in Factory Bumper

Being install and use both in stock winch and ARB one Here is my comments

I recomend instock winch installation rather than ARB due to the additional weight (150 lb plus the winch) then if you have 285' wheels then I found the car to be heavy and slow hence higher fuel consuption. Never the less you need lift kits to fit.

Instock installation it works well with the car as you will not notice the weight of the winch and the bumper. No expensive lift kit and off course normal fuel consuptions.

I have just removed the ARB+ winch, removed the lift kit and only install the OME shocks. Install 4 wheel spacer to go with 285 baja ATZ on R17 stock wheels. The car look very nice and perfomed well.

Re: Winch in Factory Bumper

This Also Answers the Question of "Why Did
Toyota Put Such a Large Bumper on the FJ ?"...

I Think they must have had this in mind during
the design...
