I purchased one from Harbor Freight, model number 86193 (or 93186 - I can't remember and transpose numbers all the time). It was on sales in late November (until Dec 4th, I think) for $50, normally $70. I haven't tried it yet, other than to test it to be sure it works. It looks like the ARB for $280 (or there abouts), but I'm sure that the ARB has a better air up time (but not by a whole lot). I probably won't air down as much as many on this forum, so it should be good for my needs.

That is the one I have and it is great for the money.

That's the one I've been using. I have aired up 12 tires (8 OEMs and 2 BFG 285/70R17) from 20 psi to ~35 psi before the thermal protection shut the compressor down and had to wait for about 45 minutes before it would work again. Can't beat the price.
I dont have an air compressor, Im running 20# CO2
but when I do buy a compressor, it will be Oasis they are spendy, but very much worth every penny.
a buddy has one, so we decided to do a "real world" test, same tires, same tire size, at about 11,000 ft elevation, we aired down to 12psi. me with a freshly filled CO2, him with the Oasis, started at the exact same time, stoped at the exact same time, and we both had 32psi, by my tire gage.
Pros:
every bit as fast as CO2.
never running out of air.
running air tools.
Cons:
expensive.
on the big side.
has to mounted flat.
