Well I finally got a chance to install a new All pro Bumper w/small bar & lights. It took about two hours to install the bumper and another hour modifying the KC brackets to mount on top of the light bar. By adding the lights on top of the bar keeps the bug spat off the center of the windshield. It gives it a pre-runner look and best yet it does not block the air flow.

Re: New All Pro Bumper
chrsmall- thanks for the service. Archy chris- your rig looks fantastic. Great set-up! thanks for sharing. Actually all-pro should be the one thanking you Free advertising!
Ahh man... love the FJ and obviously love the bumper but you gotta hang the lights! (Just my opinion of course, but Im not diggin the lights way up there like that!)
Sorry i am a noob, still trying to figure this stuff out.
I Thought the winch was for pulling people out? But hooks can pull people out as well, i assume with some sort of cable?
Just pick yourself up a tow strap. You can find them anywhere but I personally prefer Trail Duty. Great prices and great service. They'll probably send you free shackles as well which you will need.
However, to pull someone out you'll want to attach the tow strap to the factory tow hooks under the bumper that are attached directly to the chassis. If you use the after market tow shackles only attached to the bumper, you're gonna pull your bumper off! Not good.
