Wink Another custom skid plate install!

I'm sure this is just one of many custom install threads for skid plates but I'm also certain everybody does theirs just a little bit different so I thought I'd post up mine!

Here are the beginning pics. The actual plates will be put on next week but I thought it was useful to see what's required to get them on!

I'll post pics of the finished product when it's done but I'm very excited! As you can tell, I've actually added an additional cross-member just before the gas tank that's even with the lowest point of the undercarraige. It looks pretty low but it's actually not.

Here is the additional rear protection that I've added and I'm considering turning the rock rails into rock sliders but that may need to wait until I win the lottery!

I really like the look of your front skid. One suggestion though, maybe drill a few holes or cut some slits into it for cooling/drainage. You wouldn't want it to collect water and start to rust from the top.
