Fab Fours Final Test Fit of the Rear Bumper

I drove to Durango yesterday dropped my trailer in Del Norte for summer storage, found a buggy shop to install my Formual Toy chassis on my 4Runner and best of all the prototype rear bumper is on my FJ.

They changed the mounting brackets to account for the flex that the tire carrier causes to the bumper.

All is good, I will drive it for a month then final production is 6 weeks out.

Can't wait to get the final product, we just spray painted this one for the testing.

That awesome looking, what did the final weight come out to be? I have the Fab Four front bumper but was still deciding what to use on the back.

Jeff: Does it improve your departure angle? From the angle...It doesn't really seem like it does, either way it looks great.

Re: Fab Fours Final Test Fit of the Rear Bumper

So how does the tire carrier work? You swing out the tire carrier the same direction as the door? Is it possible to scratch/dent/damage the door by hitting the carrier when opening the door? Looks badass though...and heavy

e

Well I will go check, the tire carrier opens way out as the door stops so there should not be a issue.

Final weight not sure will put the final version on the scales in 6 weeks.

My rear springs did not move I did measure.

Departure angle is no greater, but I like the bumper, no plastic.

The final wings will be a little larger filling the gap you see when the door is open ortherwise they did a great job.
