Thanks for the photos, I do have one question. At the T connection you have clamps on the 2 1/4" hoses but not one on the smaller hose, is there a reason that one didn't get one?

Look at the very first post, you will see, the locker is to small for clamps. You need to use 2 small zip ties

Just did it right now, I was able to use the clamp w/ a screw gun and nut drive, we just didn't have it fully complete yesterday. You can use zip ties also like Shadow said
Suggesting I simply do not understand about offroading is exactly what I expected when you cannot find any thing wrong with my argument. It is an age old tactic to attack a person you do not know at all as being unknowledgeable when you don't agree with their position. If you had done YOUR research, you would understand how ludicrous that is.
Because others have relocated breathers on other vehicles DOES NOT mean we should, or need to!
None of you have yet offered any evidence whatsoever that the breather is at fault.
Nor have any of you suggested that giving up the warranty coverage is reasonable price to pay for this 'cheap insurance'.
Sorry guys, you all drank the Kool-Aid......from where I stand, its funny....
pathetic really, but funny too.
Last post on the subject.

Only "evidence" I can offer is the result of having my front and rear diff's "serviced" today in prep for driving out to Ouray. I had been through some water crossings but nothing I thought was too deep. The mechanic asked if I had been in deep water because the fluid looked to be "slightly" contaminated. Do I know that it came in through the breather, no, I have no proof. Did the mechanic recommend to me to relocate/extend the breathers, YES. We had a discussion about this thread and he thought it was a good idea if I were to travel through similar streams/water crossings.
You make a valid point about modifying a "factory part/system" and the potential for voiding the warranty. Yet, I also believe that if I had a failure, they would have to prove that said modifications caused the defect. It works both ways.
So, I'm doing it tomorrow. Thanks to all who have contributed to the evolving techniques and additions to this thread...
