Did you do the mod only for the sticker?!
Is there any other reason, I'm never taking my rig off-road.

Re: SCUBA Driver Transmission, Transfer Case, Rear Differential & E-Locker Breather M

I have completed this mod some time ago and it has protected my vital drivetrain parts from damage!
I would like to get the Decal!

Does anybody have these or am I wasting my time?

You have to twist the breather back and forth and it will "Break Free" then should come off pretty easy.

Re: SCUBA Driver Transmission, Transfer Case, Rear Differential & E-Locker Breather M

alright i finally finished everything except for the AT breather was easy i got so frustrated with it that i pulled to hard and the connection from the AT got disconnected after freaking out for like 5 minutes i realized this would be much easier, i just attached to the t first then back onto the AT with the clamps that were already being used, also for people whose arms don't fit in from the top of the engine bay i worked from the bottom a lot easier access to the 2 front breathers
all in all i'm finally done its worth the time and cash
thanks shadow for your great write up

SCUBA Driver ARB Compressor Air Filter Mod Part 1

I recently installed a new CKMA12 compressor in my 4Runner. It is located on the fenderwell on the driver's side. It required relocating the heatsinked module as well as the little relay box on the side of the fuse box. I used some small sheets of 1/8" thick rubber to help isolate some of the compressor's vibration.

Compressor bolted down with a red dust cap on the outlet

Two new switches in the lineup

What I wasn't crazy about was that the compressor's little air filter was near the lip of the fenderwell where splashing water or tire-churned dust would be prevalent.

What I came up with was a way to remote mount the filter and stay within ARB's guidelines for minimizing inlet restrictions

Scuba Driver Kit Of Parts

K&N 62-1110 valve cover breather with 5/8" inlet stem and mounting stud
Hose clamps 3/8” to 7/8” (2 needed)
Metal “L” Braces/Brackets 2” x 2”
3/8” to ¼” NPT Male to NPT Male
3/8” FIP to MIP street elbow
PVC tube 5/8” ID
PVC pipe end cap
Teflon thread paste or use Teflon tape
Two stainless self tapping screws
SCUBA Driver Sticker (Thanks Shadow-Warrior!)

Next... the build up.

SCUBA Driver ARB Compressor Air Filter Mod Part 2

Filter installed in PVC cap to protect from splashing water. You must drill a hole for the filter stud to fit through.

With “L” Bracket on the cap (yes, I put the K&N sticker on)

Assembled elbow adaptor for 1/4” NPT to 3/8” MPT. It threads in where the ARB filter was.

Installed adaptor with 5/8” ID plastic tube hose clamped on

Filter mounted behind driver’s side headlamp

With battery back in place

The Compressor’s filter air inlet is now above what I would consider the water line for my engine’s air inlet.
