Re: MissFJ's Project SFA

Air2Air and MissFJ should have build off contest. And we can vote the winner.

I think you both should win.

Looks like lots of good progress being made. Glad things worked out with Inchworm, they really are great to work with... BTW, that looks like a Scout steering box? I say go for the rear steer.
79 Ford F-150 box. mounts outside the frame and steers off the front of the box instead of the rear... Have it set as far forward as we can with out hitting the front tow hook bracket that drops off the frame or the radiator drain.

Think we'd have to cut out the frame and tube the back to pull off the rear steer but you never know. Missy may have a few extra pennies layin around somewhere

Keep in mind pics are mid-work and not the finished product.

Steering box is mount and will hopefully be functional tomorrow. After that, panhard bar goes in...

Not bad for a guy with a broken thumb and busted shoulder

Re: MissFJ's Project SFA

The price will depend upon what components (i.e. axles, diffs, shocks, joints, steering, wheels, tires, and about 500 other parts) you choose. You should plan on a minimum of about $5k, but more than likely on a newer vehicle like the FJC your cost will be higher because everything is custom built at this point.
