Talking How to accurately calculate your MPG's, by God

I see many well meaning followers state they got xx MPG on this tank and xx MPG on that tank and the like. That is pure adulterated cr*ap! Without averaging your useage over several tankfuls you are doing the devils work. So you don't continue to anoy Me I will give you God's Way of Calculating MPG's.
Prerequisites:
Have your tires aired up to spec---the 10psi you run in Moab Mode wont do you any good.
Take the luggage off the roof from the recent trip to Wally World.
Remove the bags of Portland Cement from the Vast Rear Area.
Have the Great Big Four Litre broken in---3K ought to do it.

Fill your tank till the pump shuts off---it must be full on the First Recording.
God said so. Keep a tablet. Write in list form the current mileage. Write number of gallons filled. Write how many gallons you filled. God does not consider litres acceptable and are therefore an abomination.

The next trips to the station do not have to be complete fill ups. Just record your odometer reading and number of gallons.

Do this for a period of a month. If your FJ is parked for a month, do it on another month. Approx 1000 miles is good.

Subtract beginning odometer reading from ending odom. reading.
Add up all gallons used.
Divide miles by gallons.
This is your God Given Mileage. You are free to then post this as fact.

ps this is in writing on the internets so it is complete and utter fact.

Don't forget to dance the poka, while rubbing your tummy and patting your head at the same time

Re: How to accurately calculate your MPG's, by God

You end up with "Your Average Combined Mileage"
more accurately termed "how many miles to the gallon YOU get"
