Just found out my TRD air filter for my FJ is shipping today. Apparently they are starting to trickle in. I should have it on Monday and will let everyone know how it works out. I am really hoping to at least notcie it with power and MPG's. Got 3,500 on this baby now..

I think this and dualing the exhaust with an x-pipe set up or at least a crossover tube would be 'da bomb!
Exhaust shops can get the X shaped collector relatively inexpensively to add in when putting on the duals.

An X-pipe setup is a modern day version of what we used to do by just adding a "balance tube" between the duals about a third of the way back.
A balance tube is where you cut holes in the pipes across from each other and install a chunk of pipe to balance out the pulses and give better performance.
Someone figured out an X pipe can dyno out better. Some vehicles such as late model Mustangs have available pipes sold with an X type collector where essentially the pipes merge together in a siamesed sort of arrangement shaped like an X and the exhaust is merged there to blance exhaust pulses.
Cobra models have them factory.
The aftermarket exhaust parts suppliers sell a 2.25,2.5, 2.75 inlet/outlet size pre made X's that can slip fit and be welded in your custom made pipe setups. I have even seen them in Summit Racing catalogs.
This allows a shop with a pipe bender to custom craft something similar to what a high dollar kit would have at lesser cost.
