Re: blue Sliders

I remember seeing some in a picture here... I think it was on a thread about crazy people who name their vehicles... I just searched and could not find it. Maybe someone else will have luck with this search??

Re: Sliders

several of the sliders come unfinished...and you can spray them easily.

Actually I chose to do this myself rather than have them powedercoated because you're going to scratch them, and then you can just repaint them. When I got my AllPro sliders I sanded them, primed, and painted on 2 coats of Rustoleum. About 10 months later and they're looking fine..but I'm gonna repaint them soon.

HEED THIS ADVICE (not knowing any better)! I had mine powdercoated and after a couple Tellico journeys (especially lower 2) they are thrashed and I can't simply retouch them up. K

These pix is before my 2nd trip to Tellico and they are much worse now.

I've never seen powder coat flake like that. Maybe they weren't prepped properly? Mine are powder coated and I have a couple of deep scrapes (to steel that has now started to rust), but no flaking.

Posted a couple of pics here.

Re: Sliders

you can paint them yourself. many have used "ford blue", seems to be a good match:
Find Rustoleum Ford Blue Machine Paint, 12 oz and other Spray Paint at Aubuchon Hardware

Re: Sliders

Check out this thread.... for blue bumpers and sliders:

VooDoo Blue or Osha Safety Blue?

I am probably going with the AllPro sliders myself, and need to decide what to do about paint . . .
