While the overall installation of the All-Pro is pretty straightforward, the installation instructions leave much to be desired, especially compared to that of the Warn’s detailed step-by-step instructions. Limited blurry photographs within the instructions seldom coincide with the often-confusing text. And, in some of the more important steps, photographs are left out completely.
So it's like every other All-Pro product? I'm surprised it came with instructions.

Steve...I see you own three fj's of different vintages....so how in the heck do you go thru two bumpers with out a single sign that the rigs ever been off road....the stock foil skid doesn't even have a scratch in it...the shocks show no signs of trail sandblasting and not one single speck of dirt anywere.....tell me this ain't no city rig....

Steve does wheel it! I've been there with him.
Great job Steve! I didn't notice a loss of mpg with my ARB, but it is a heavy monster... Maybe I wasn't watching closely...
But, you did clearly identify a thought process that we normally do not go through when deciding which bumper to purchase. Posts like yours give all of us more to think about then the product literature hipe!
Thanks Buddy!

"Deactivate deflector shields, Mr. Zulu."
The part of the world I live in is "muddin' country." It's a much different terrain than the course AZ desert. Fortunately, mud doesn't scratch up skid plates or sandblast shocks . . . . it's just a major PITA to wash off.
But, you're right about my "trailer queen" FJ-25 . . . . it will likely never see dirt again in its lifetime.
