For those who have ARB front bumper and OME suspension

I am planning on getting the ARB front bumper I will not be putting a winch.

Which suspension should I use heavy or medium? I do some off roading, not too often and from time to time I pull my boat (if that makes any difference)

I have read several threads and it seems that most people go with H on the front and M on the rear?

Please advice

Also if you dont mind telling me where you got it and what you pay?

Thanks

Re: For those who have ARB front bumper and OME suspension

I went Heavy in the front medium rear. I did the suspension 1st and drove for about a month before I got the Bumper installed. The front was VERY stiff and very little re-bound (going over parking lot bumps, sucked!)

Once the ARB bumper went on I am back to factory ride. VERY smooth and very little nose dive under heavy braking. I also like the fact that my rig sits more level even under the weight of the front bumper. I think if I had gone with the medium, I would have more nose dive and it would not sit as level.

Just my 2 cents!

Oh I bought the OME thru Performance Products, I think I paid $650 total. The bumper I bought at the local 4 Wheel Parts and got a club discount. I think for everything I paid around $2000 (including the driving light kit)

I went with the medium kit, front and rear. I the OME and ARB installed at the same time. Works well off road and on road. No regets. I paid 1500.00 Canadian for the bummper and 900.00 Canadian for the lift kit. Bought both at National 4 Wheel Drive.

Re: For those who have ARB front bumper and OME suspension

Here is the OME recommendation, but in the end it will be up to you how you want it to ride. Without the winch you will be ok with either. The heavy will be stiffer and the medium will be spongier (not always a bad thing). It is ride preference at this point.

Here it is. With just a bumper you would fall into the "medium" category.

Re: For those who have ARB front bumper and OME suspension

I have heavies in from and med in the rear with stock bumpers. I really don't think the ride is that hard and I like the fact that it corners flatter than stock. I'll be adding a RA or X1 front bumper in the spring and it may soften things up further but it's really not bad.

Re: For those who have ARB front bumper and OME suspension

I've got the heavies front and also a winch in the ARB bumper. Medium rear but want Kaymars rear bumper if it ever comes out. You'll like the ride. ST. Pete.

Re: For those who have ARB front bumper and OME suspension

I HAD the mediums up front/med rear.....switched the front to heavy and am much happier...you mention pulling a boat...so for you...I would go heavy/heavy
