flashing front and rear LEDs for offroading

I was offroading last weekend in the dust and some rigs had some flashing front and rear LEDs which I thought were cool, but can't find a topic on it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I was behind larry most for a good amount of time last weekend, and that's why i want them now. comes in really handy when the rigs in front of you kick up a whole bunch of dust

Did you see all his other lights? If I was told that someone had the lights larry had on his FJ with out seeing it, I would think, some teenager made a bling bling FJ. But Its so well done and useful when U see it in person. The bad part is Dirty Parts and I work the same hours so I can never get down to the shop from the valley.

you can also go to Kartek, they have lots of dust lights you can check out.

But Larry's flashing stuff is pretty cool and he is closer to you.

Re: flashing front and rear LEDs for offroading

People the stuff you are looking for can be found by these makers: Whelen, Galls, Federal Signal, SVP, and others. This is all stuff you can find on eBay. what you are looking for is Strobe power supplys, led, strobe lights, switches and wires. The hide-a-way strobes are the best. The more lights and brighter you want to strobe the more $$$ it will cost ya. Most state prohibit any strobing colors other than clear and amber. Which you can use on construction trucks and small cars as "suplemental warning systems". Most other colors are used for Fire and Police. You can not use green or purple either as they are used for Fish and Game and for Funeral processions. Also note using clear and amber while drive will get you busted also. My last car was all tricked out with police lights and stobes. Just having it on your car and not using it will get you busted. The police red and blue light bars are a big no no. Now that you know be responsible. If you use it as a traffic buster and expect cars to pull to the side to give you priorty or blow through a stop light just because your in a hurrry, expect to go to jail for a long time. If you use all this off highway then you are cool. But if you ever get pulled over and it is not even on and the officer happens to notice it and asked what is all this for and askes for a demo on it, expect to have it taken away. This is just some of the problems myself and budy had here in Socal.
