Re: All-Pro Rear Bumper Installation (pics)

Looks good Steve. A helpful write-up for sure. I'm waiting on Demello's as well (since I've got credit with him for my Summit raffle prize).

Re: All-Pro Rear Bumper Installation (pics)

BTW, has anyone with the All-Pro rear bumper notched the underside below the center mounting area to accomodate the OEM trailer hitch . . . . or did you just buy the optional ($99) All-Pro trailer hitch??

Re: All-Pro Rear Bumper Installation (pics)

All we need to cut for installing this bumper is: the black pieces that are underneath our silver wings and cut the flat piece of the bumper leaving 3 inches or so. Then remount? Then on to the mounting process of the allpro bumper.

If this is the case it doesn't seem terribly difficult.

Yep, that's basically it. However, you might want to do your actual trimming in incredments as to not cut off too much of the plastic.

Once you make the cuts there will be one large piece? 1. the small piece that will be left after cutting it away from the stock bumper (bolts back on near the cargo area).

2. The larger bumper piece that housed the the silver wings and runs across the entire back of the FJ. Im assuming in the pic below you will cut away the entire area where the reflector lights are? Cutting across the top and then down the sides. So the OEM bumper piece you could originally step on is gone.

Like other's have said your installation instructions look much better then the instuctions on allpro's website---- All Pro Off Road
