Fairings

Anyone have info on what if any aftermarket fairings have been made for the FJ Cruiser? I find the wind noise can be a bit distracting.

Re: Fairings

Marley,

Fairies aside, Toyota is planning on making a fairing with incorporated lighting available this summer. No one has seen it (let alone tested it) and although it looks like it will do the trick...It may or may not reduce the wind noise problem entirely. If you come up with a solution (home made or otherwise) in the interim...please be sure to post pictures.

My temporary solution is to crank your tunes until the noise goes away...otherwise roll your windows up and blast the A/C.

This one was for the Land Cruiser made by Yakima, not sure but wouldnt it do the trick? I really cant see why it wouldnt work.

It appears the fairing attaches to a horizontal bar across the front, which my roof rack does not have. The FJ roof rack option only has the rounded post on either side that sweeps to the rear, so a cross member would be needed for this to work, if I am seeing this correctly.
