Donahoe or Camburg

Does anyone have a opinion who makes the best product

Donahoe coil overs and the total chaos upper A Arms or Camburgs offering, cost is not a issue.

Thanks

Re: Donahoe or Camburg

This is a constant debate on many Toyota based internet forums. Both are great quality products and both are virtually identical. Visit www.ttora.com and do some research on their forums to get your answers there are more threads about this discussion around the net than you want to find. www.tundrasolutions.com also has many although I think their forum is a pay forum now. Something else I would do years ago when comparing systems that are very much identical in parts is call some neutral parties. Get some feedback from people who run both. Call some offroad shops that install their parts and see what they have to say. This probably isnt the answer you want but usually threads like this turn into a bash-a-thon and both companies provide great products for the Toyota community and I am personally tired of hearing this debate online.

Not many people running either on FJ's yet so your best bet is Tacoma forums.

Good luck

Re: Donahoe or Camburg

Thanks Jordan, I think after reading the very long thread I will go with the UCA and Coilovers from Camburg.

Re: Donahoe or Camburg

I can't provide a great deal of insight, but I can provide some. I have the Donahoe coil-overs installed on my FJ (with the rear kit on order). I also have a good buddy who has the Camburg coil-overs on his Tacoma. He speaks very highly of them and I have no doubt they're terrific performers. The only thing I can say is that I have spoken at length with the guys at Donahoe and they're spending a great deal of time with the FJ, which makes me very comfortable spending as much money with them as I will be. I can't speak to whether Camburg is putting as much time in on their kits for the FJ, and they may well be. That would be the only caveat I would have to offer on which of the two to go with. I was tempted with the OME kits but ARB doesn't even have an FJ on hand to do any analysis on (or at least they didn't several weeks ago according to the information I got).

That, along with talking to the Donahoe guys, convinced me that getting their coil-overs and waiting on their rear kit was the way to go, at least for me it was.
