Great pictures, you guys did some real muddin. The interior looks like it's gunna need some work. You guys are "crazy".
LOLOL... I missed this one... Yeaa, I still have
not cleaned it up, I did spend an hour with some
windex and some paper towels this past week
(the first time I have cleaned the interior), but
did not touch the floor... It's like the mud stained
the plastic on the doors, no mater how much
you spray and wipe, it's still visable, strange...

Most of the mud/water just poured out upon
putting the fj on a steep angle with the door
open, and the rest was dryed before noon that
day... ...

She drowns... but on the brighter side, she would probably confess to any crime you'd like her to in the process.

Re: ARB Safari Snorkel Install Instructions w/ Pics

Ok, this might be a dumb question but I haven't been able to find the answer yet so here it goes:

How can you make sure that the snorkel is properly installed and thus truly watertight? (other than diving into a lake and hoping for the best, of course )

I was thinking about removing the air ram thingie and then covering the intake with a plastic bag while the engine is still running, if the snorkel truly is watertight then the engine should stall, right? is this a good way to test it or will I end up damaging something?

Thanks

Re: ARB Safari Snorkel Install Instructions w/ Pics

Imho I think even if you get a little water in with the snorkel it will likely not make it to the engine
