Alright All Ya'll, upon post trail inspection I discovered a leaking front diff seal, there are few who run their rigs as hard as I do, and yes some play harder than I do, so most of you are safe. Just make sure to check yer TOY's out after you play with them that way you know what effects your driving style as on your rig I drive mine hard that's my choice. Plus I've got a shimmy, it feels like an unbalanced wheel that I'm sure came from an shop, that shall remain nameless till I run down the source of said problem, Just had all four tires replaced with 265/75/16 BFG AT KO's same as stock, I've got 2.5" KING setup and till now the alinement has been dead on hopefully the answer is, unbalanced tire and a session on the rack. Just a heads up for all you WHEELERS out there
1 Hour of play time = 2 hours of cleaning up your rig
A good thread BZ. Usually I check my rig before and after a hard trail, but things do get away from you.
I will add a few things to the list, and maybe with a few more member's input this database can grow.
Grease those parts! Aftermarket parts often come with grease zerks. They may be hard to get at, but not greasing them can be more problematic.
Keep your stock items when you upgrade. It seems like a lot of junk lieing around, but I now need an upper link so I can get a "lifetime warranteed" part repaired under warranty without just parking my rig. Stock shocks or links can "fill the hole" while you are waiting for warranty replacements.
Carry spares Most of our rigs seem new enough to not need anything, but parts do fail, and having someone on the trail with a spare tie rod end or U-joint can make the difference between a repair and a whole day of retracing your steps to get parts.
Happy wheeling, and add something to this thread if you have advice.
Not that bad YET.... hope to fix it up... or maybe it's time for my favorite saying: It's not BRAKEAGE it's an opportunity for an UPGRADE
Mine looked like this one day only...and I couldn't get it to leak at the dealership....twice...hence the photos....but when I got the shimmy I insisted they check it out....it was fried and needed to be replaced....good luck
I experienced alot of leakage from the front end, and assumed it was the seal. Upon further inspection it turned out to be the breather overflowing when the fluid foamed up. "Poor assembly / overfilled" was the official problem charged to warranty. Checking differential fluid levels is definately a must.

Thank you both very much! Hopefully My issue will be easy, but for some reason I doubt it will be, somehow I've always ended up doing things the hard way
Good luck with your problem. One way to rule out tire vibration is to swap front for rear. If the problem follows the tire, then it is the tires. If not, then you have another problem. The fluid is a bad sign though.

Do you know what was wrong? Can you perhaps sdescribe the shimmy in a bit more detail (at a specific speed, steerign wheel only or vibration through truck). A buddy of mine seems to have a problem that sounds similar.
A point on leaky diffs. If you hang up on the trail and nitcie the leak at an obsticle it goes without saying (that is why I am saying it) that cleanup of the oil spill is done. I know you do not always know till later but I have seen may people get back home and say "I knew I fawked something up on that rock" get out and check, may prevent bigger problem with your rig and help the trail system stay open.
