Fab Four Vs Expedition One

Hello, I was trying to get peoples intake on what bumper to choose. I like the expedition one without bull gaurd and I like fab four. I plan to put winch in both can I get some peoples pictures instead of the ones just in bumper comparasion. And maybe your experience with the bumper.

Re: Fab Four Vs Expedition One

While I have not seen the E-1 bumper up close, I can say that the Fab Four bumper is one of the highest quality. Easy to install, and adjusts perfectly to the truck. All 3/16 steel

Re: Fab Four Vs Expedition One

I love the fab fours bumper easy to install but heavy just have to follow instructions exactly when installing all of the parts. would recommend doing a heavy spring up front to support the wight of the bumper and winch combined.

Re: Fab Four Vs Expedition One

I've seen the Fab fours bumper on a few FJ's but it only looks good in person on the Green monster that they built. It looks really low in the front on a 3" lifted FJ...

I have the Exp1 bumper and love it! It's VERY well built and James is an awesome guy to work with.

In the end, everybody has a different opinion, this is just my $.02

Good Luck!

everyone has different taste. Just buy whichever you like the best. They are both quality products,so really its just personal taste.

Re: Fab Four Vs Expedition One

Which is the lighter, with the 9.5ti(i think thats the winch that comes with the fab fours). I can't do a heavy spring upgrade because I got the 6inch lift.

Re: Fab Four Vs Expedition One

The Expedition 1 is 90 lbs with center hoop. I went with E1 simply because of the approach angle looks to be superior. Install was easy. Customer service from E1 was incredible. James was a joy to buy from, which in my opinion makes all the diffrence. However the Fabfours looks like a great bumper as well. Either way you'll be happy.
