Re: 25+HP. I call bull****! Just what exactly is it?

I'm too lazy to search. Is this the one that goes in your intake temp sensor harness to make the car think it's always cold out side, thus over fueling so you get more gas and timing? If so, my buddy picked this up for his Neon a few years ago, what a waist of $15. Besides worse gas mileage, there wasn't anything else we noticed. It was easy to install, just bend the wires on the resister to fit into your air intake temp sensor plug and away you go. I would love for somebody to try this out with some dyno numbers, but in theory this would work, until your motor starts to knock, then the computer will step in and you will lose the 25+HP you just gained because of detonation. Same reason you should be able to run 87 octane fuel with these trucks. The computer will compensate for the knock, pull some timing out so you will lose some HP, but you can run cheaper gas!

I think anyone who spends the money on it should tell us how much they love it so we can laugh at them

Re: 25+HP. I call bull****! Just what exactly is it?

Maybe I'll start selling a 10+ HP mod kit for cars on E-Bay. It will include a years membership to Jenny Craig so your fat a$$ girl friend can lose some weight so you car is faster! Or maybe a universal lowering kit and I'll send you a few bags of concrete so you can fill the inside of your car with an inch or so to make it lower!

This isn't directed at anybody in particular, just pisses me off that people are dumb enough to buy this type of $hit on e-bay. Oh well. If you can make money off of other's stupidity and feel good about it, go for it...
