Thong, I'm waiting for sun to go down. I'll post more pics tonight. I'd love to meet up with you just to see how these two compare. Have some yellow filters that I'll try tonight as well. Did you get the wide dispersion lens? I wonder how much wider they'll help with your XGTs. When are your bumpers coming in?
I have the combo yellow filters (both spot and wide dispersion). I think both the 240 Blitz and XGT have similar light output according to the sales pamphlet but I'm sure if they share the same reflector design. Yeah, it would be fun to meet up.

WRT the front bumper, I guess if Todd would leave Jason alone for a few days, I'll get to have my tube bumper made.

Re: Let there be LIGHT!

Took some pictures of how they look on the FJ with AllPro winch bumper (small light loop). Unfortunately, the night pictures didn't turn out very good and I'll retake them tomorrow. This will give you an idea of how large they are.

Tomorrow, I'll have pictures of different patterns and with yellow filters.

Re: Let there be LIGHT!

Looking good Tony, I am glad you got them on and working or Mud got them on and working.

The sight has them with the same output. Here is the graph

Re: Let there be LIGHT!

They are huge! Arien and Steph came over tonight and gave me ANOTHER gift. FJoel had made a speciall battery clamp for me. It was voodoo blue with FJamming engraved! I love it too!

The 3 of use went for a ride so we can check out the light and adjust them. They throw so much light that I'm afraid to use it. These are very flexible in that with a quick twist, you can adjust the light pattern. Unfortunately the pictures weren't very good so I decided not to use them. For kicks, I tried to shine my spotlight into the pattern that's on the wall. It disappeared. Apparently, the Lightforce are brighter then my spot-even when in diffuse mode! Thanks for picking them out Josh .

WOW that batter clamp is beautiful

Lightforce's are the best! I can wait to see them in action.

Re: Let there be LIGHT!

Ok. got some more pictures. These pictures shows the lights in different patterns and the effects of yellow filter.

1. Just head lights with low beams.

2. Blitz 240 in pencil beam and clear filter.

3. Blitz 240 1 full turn towards diffuse. Clear filter.

4. Blitz 240 1.5 turn towards diffuse. Clear filter. I need to run this test in an area that has a bit more distance. The light is more diffused, but there's a dark spot in the middle now. Might be too diffused.

5. Bitz 240 in pencil beam. Yellow filter. The yellow filters is patterned in the middle with ribbed lines. In pencil mode, the grids spreads the light out horizontally while maintaining defined pencil pattern.

6. Blitz 240 1 full turn towards diffuse. Yellow filter.

7. Blitz 240 1.5 turn towards diffuse. Yellow filter.

8. Blitz 240 1/2 turn towards diffuse. Yellow filter. Notice the gridded pattern described in picture 5 is now turned and the horizontal illumination is now vertical. Not sure of application in driving, but could be useful if vertical illumination is needed.

So far, I prefer picture 6. Yellow filter in semi diffused mode. Good horizontal spread and lights far enough down the road. With low beams, it should be even better. Compare it to picture 1 and the stock lights are pathetic.

Re: Let there be LIGHT!

believe me, the yellow light is awesome in fog and dust. we were driving around tonight in the smoke from the fires in the area and we could see no problem.
