I thought I would pass this on to others out there with Hi-Lift jacks that want a cheep solution for your Hi Lift to keep it from rattling, you can buy the silicone absorber that Hi-Lift sells like the one I have on mine, but if you want a cheep solution, just go to your local hardware or even Wal-Mart and buy a length of round foam insulation for pipes. It cost about $1.00, just cut it to length. It has a slit running down one side of the insulation for applying it to a pipe. It fits perfect around the Hi-Lift handle and removes in seconds. I just thought I would pass it on to everyone; sometimes it’s just the little things that make life a little easier.

SWEET!
i also found that a 1 1/8" threadless steerer (a-head) top cap (from a bicycle - i had a cheap faux carbon cap lying around) fits in the handle perfectly and held on with a piece of electrical tape you can get the handle keepers on and off which is easier to live with than the rubber stopper that is recommended elsewhere on the forums.
(i also cut up a sea-land diving bag to cover the mechanism and protect it from the elements, will eventually get around to posting that)
