Thumbs up C.O.R.E Colorado Off Road Extreme

Well, after 3 days of modifications it was time to play, seems like everyone was busy today so I had to go buy myself so very little photos.

So if you are looking for somewhere to go test your FJ for the first time off road and live around the Front Range this place isn't bad.

Located 40 miles east of Denver off 70, exit 328 Deertrail exit trun right go to the stop sign, turn left on Highway 40 go 5 miles east trun left under highway gravel road and your there.

Ok here is where it gets really funny, a tailer says open, its locked, says blow horn, here comes a Ford 350 High Boy with a 8 year old kid driving, sign your waiver form, 20 bucks a day or 200 for the year, they hold 14 mud/rock crawler events per year.

So I go out drive around (really dusty) should of kept my window up but oh well needs to get rid of that new look and feel.

I went up all the hills no problem, the kid was very suprised I made it up all of them the first time around.

I played around the mud pits, the first one was fun around 50 Yards long mud was above my tires and was dragging 3rd gear low lock not a problem.

The other pits be very careful, the kid or Colen will lead you down the deep end in hopes you get stuck. After playing his dad Carl comes over in the big loader he is building higher dirt walls to flood in prep for the big mud races on Memorial Day Weekend. He was very impressed with the FJ he goes I see you smart enough to test the edges of the big mud area and not listen to his son and attempt to go across the short end, I guess its about 6 feet of mudd, the kid gets all the money he makes pulling people out.

I took a few pics on the rocks but wasn't getting out around the mud pits, I took a couple of pics when I got home.

Well If you to take you FJ out for the first time, can play on small hills work your way up to the bigger hills and see how she plays in the mud this is a great place.

I did the DR's on the front and I drove on the ATV track at 70 MPH and was amazed at the ride, could of done with out the dust.

We should get all the locals with FJ's go meet and go out if nothing else for a great photo shoot and some fun.

Well my first real *****, the fender wells are poorly designed they collect mud every where!!!!

cost more to clean the FJ than to enter the C.O.R.E

I'd definitely like to hook up with everyone, once I get my FJ. That place sounds like a blast!
