Has anyone seen this?

I haven't seen any posts for All Pro Off road yet. I just ordred the rock rails for my FJ I'm picking up next week! ! They claim to have a SAS kit in the works ----- follow this link and look at the 3rd picture down--39"'s! I figure this is where they are headed once you convert to SAS. I love FJ's! This is my first post but not the last!

Re: Has anyone seen this?

hadnt noticed the addition of the sliders at the bottom of the page - $349/pair. might just be biting. sent off an email requesting some info,...bolt on? powdered? tossing the allpros up with the bentups....if i recall the bentups were a comparable price but not powdered.

Re: Has anyone seen this?

Agreed MissFJ. However for the Rubicon owners that constantly remind me how superior the front wheel articulation is with a solid axle can now put it in thier pipes and smoke it! lol Yes the 39's are strictly a "look at me!!!" thing and most likely would lessen the off road capablities of the FJ , but I've seen worse---->>>> a CJ-5 with 44's. SHORT WHEELBASE + HIGH CENTER OF GRAVITY= NOTHING GOOD. I guess I'm just so excited to see so many manufacturers developing goodies for a vehicle that has been on the market for only a month. Don't worry --- I'm not going 39's, but I did manage to order the 3" Revtek lift in the time it took me to reply. God, I love this stuff!

Yea, I'm holding my fab guy back from doing an SFA swap! He wants to rip my baby apart! However, I did have a lot of issues with the IFS on my old Taco, so I may seriously consider it. Still the 39's are over kill That's hard for me to say since I'm a big tire kinda gal. I used to have a 3" revtek. Think I'm going to try something new this time. Good luck with yours!

Re: Has anyone seen this?

39-inch tires are not overkill if you want to run big rocks, deep mud, and gnarly trails

small tires are nice for mileage

Re: Has anyone seen this?

I just inquired about their rock rails. My questions and their responses are below.

has-anyone-seen-rock-rail.jpg

Hi Sarah, I am interested in purchasing your rock rails for my new Toyota fj cruiser.

Do you have any additional pictures available, other than the two I saw on your web site.

Do you have any information regarding how the strength of your rails compare to the Toyota factory rails. It seems like maybe your stick out a little further from the frame. I am wondering if that reduces the strength.

Also, what type of finish are on your rails. Are they powder coated?

What's your shipping cost to ship your rails to Colorado?

Thanks. Scott

Scott-
Attached is another picture of our FJ Cruiser rock guards. I’m not sure how strong the Toyota factory rails are, but ours are meant to hold the weight of the vehicle. The do indeed stick out farther than the factory option. This does not reduce the strength, it adds protection. The factory rails will only protect the underside on the body if you land directly on top of a rock. Ours are meant to slide the vehicle along the rocks, keeping the body panels protected. Our “kick-out” feature at the rear of the rock guards pushes the vehicle away from the rocks at the vital point where most vehicles see body damage, since the front is better protected by the control of the front steering, while the rear simply follows with little control.

Our rock guards come unpainted due to difficulty shipping without scratching the paint. If you provide me with your zip code, I will be happy to get you a shipping quote. Thanks for your interest in our products. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

-Sarah
