So I am going to be ordering a power tank here this week and was wondering what size you all would recommend. There chart has a PT10 filling ~20 (5 rigs) 295/75/16 tires 20psi, and a PT15 can fill ~30 tires(7.5 rigs) a PT20 can fill ~40 tires(10 rigs). What do you all think?
I am leaning to a 15 should I go even bigger or maybe smaller.
Oh and just to let you all know the PT10 can come in yellow, blue, candy blue, polished or black. PT15 yellow, blue and polished, PT20 just yellow

10 fits perfect...I have the 15...it's a little too tall to mount in the normal locations.....the 20 gets short again and would have been what I bought had I known the difference.....
so if I did it again...the 20lb'er....and some air tools...you'll have plenty of air to use them......
edit:after reading the chart...it says the 15 and 20 are the same....call to make sure of that....I just used a 20 and I swear it was shorter then my 15...
I will ask when I call. But I am sure it looks smaller cause the diameters is bigger then the 15 you now one of those tricks on the eyes.
So how did you mount your 15 if it doesn't fit in normal spot?
One thing that I am really surprised in is that the price difference is that much.

I have the 10lb and I think it's adequate. I just moved to 34s so I'll find out soon enough if that'll be sufficient. I think much of it depends on how accessible is CO2 filling station to you.

I'm guessing it will fill 14-16 of your tires.
I have no clue on filling stations in hemet. I will have to start calling around. What kind of company should I be looking for in the yellow pages?

Welding supply places or medical gas would/could be able to do it.
Josh, a lot of places will not fill on site and if you're like me, you wouldn't want to leave the tank there overnight. One of the things I was thinking about before you guys gave me the tank was to simply buy a used tank and just add the Powertank hi-flo regulator. You can find used tanks very often on Craigslist. I've found 2 10lbs for $45 before. Deals are out there.
I would keep the compressor as a back up.

I have been checking that thread out and like you said "Looks like Riverside and San Diego areas are really lacking." and for me all those places are at lest an 1.5 hr. from me. I will call around this week and see what I can find in the Temecula, Hemet, Movall and Perris areas.
I have a coupon for a power tank so thats why I am looking for new. The light gray numbers will be my price. And I don't have a compress, I still haven't aired up from 2 weekends ago. but I only went to 25psi so I am not to worried.

I would eventually like to do an on board air set up with a 2.5 gallon tank and a train horn set up but that is way down the line.
