Do any of the bumper manufacturers attach their winch to the frame behind the crumple zone?
Metaltech says theirs does: Metal-tech Tube front bumper photos with 4 lights

Could you post a side shot - showing the approach angle. It does look like it sticks out a bit.

I guess I should've followed your advice in the thread title - and not looked... sorry, not diggin' the bumper. Still like the Demello (and similar style) bumpers - clean lines, more of a finished look... but you know what they say about opinions

Good looking bumper, no being an a@@ but does it have other attachment points? People have had trouble with bumpers pulling the front out from the frame. I'm talking about where the bumper attaches to the frame, or frame plate. It isn't that strong of an attachment point. May want to pay close attention especially when winching.
The farthest part that sticks out on this bumper is 12" past the bar that the factory tow hooks are attached to. Pics on how it is anchored 14 bolts plus 2 brackets on each side.

Actually looks like a pretty good approach angle. Thanks for posting that. I still like the looks of the Demello, AllPro, etc. But hey, if we all bought the same bumper, that'd be kind of lame huh.
