Since you dont't recommend the skid plate that comes with the ARB, will the optional "bling" skid plate still fit? If not do you need to keep the original factory skid plate?
Are you installing the fog lights and/or other lights and if so what switches are you going to use inside the FJ?
I didn't get the bling plate with my FJ, so I don't know if it will fit. However, the ARB plate simply slides under the two front mounting bolts and extends from the front of the factory plate up to the bottom of the ARB bumper. If the bling plate mounts to the factory plate, then I don't see any reason why it would not work with the ARB skid plate.
The Toyota Trail Teams have the ARB + the factory bling plates installed, so I assume they work together. Checkout the pictures on the Trail Team website www.toyota.com/fj
The ARB Bumper Mod. is VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVery nice. They did one thing that Toyota, failed to do, which is to bring the bumper height, above the fender flair, keeping mud and stuff, from collecting on it, not like the current situation. I shutter to think what, if I drive my Cruiser this winter here in Vermont, all the crap, and sandblasting, that WILL occure on the bumper.
When the bling plate was installed, the factory plate was removed and the dealer didn't give it to me so if I need it I'll have to get it back from the dealer.

ARB Front Bumper Install (with a Warn M8000 Winch)
I received my ARB front bumper and I thought I'd take a few pictures during the install process. This thread contains only the bumper and winch installation. I will post another thread for the electrical portion as I am mounting the winch controls in the engine compartment. The installation (by myself) took me about 5 hours going really, really slow. The ARB installation instructions are pretty good. Now that I've installed one, I can probably complete the install in about 3 hours or less. The installation was not difficult at all. Matter of fact it was down right easy. There are a number of pieces and parts and some drilling that that takes place (which was not difficult). Well let's get on with it. If anyone has any question or needs any help with their install feel free to PM me.
All of the images in this thread are "clickable", so feel free to click on and image to view a larger picture.

Install the mounting hardware and ARB bumper bracket:
Rotate the winch shift lever for easy access through the top of the ARB bumper (removed alllen bolts, then rotated the cover ~1/4 turn):
