Ssd Prototype Bumper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a prototype bumper that I have helped build with SSD. SSD has built bumpers for teraflex and rocklogic in the past, so they have plenty of experience. Please give me your input and let me know what you think. This is just a prototype and is coated temporarily with a truck bed liner spray. The final will be powder coated, and will also contain a few more brackets and gassets for added strength. A few hoop designs will also be available.

Cost is estimated around $1200.

Please feel free to PM me with any questions.

Re: Ssd Prototype Bumper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like it mounts just like AllPro's as well

Looks like room for a winch, but where's the Fairlead hole? Is there a winch mounting plate built into it?

Gonna be hard to sell them at that $

all my .02

Re: Ssd Prototype Bumper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aesthetically pleasing, clean lines, very functional looking from the pictures. Good approach angle and it looks extremely well made. I'd certainly consider it if I hadn't just gotten a new bumper.

Re: Ssd Prototype Bumper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it's the pics, but it looks like it comes out to far along the sides....don't like that...It is very simple looking...it's ok, the price is to high for what you get IMHO....the RA is more expensive, but well worth every penny when you see how much Bigger and Stronger built it is compared to most others....it's ok, I'm glad to see more options for people out there for the FJ.
