Re: Installed Donahoe Racing Coil overs

i Have this lift on my Fj - I went rallyin today 70+ mph offroad - Felt like butter! This lift is worth every frigin penny!

Yes...You absolutly need to get it aligned when you install this kit...no way around it unless you want to wear to new tires like crap.

As an FYI, Reggie, the Toyota tech who did all my installs, tells me that on his FJ, with the RevTek lift, he couldn't get the alignment into specifications; but on mine with the Donahoe's and the Total Chaos UCA's, the alignment was a piece of cake.

I've been tellin people this stuff for ten years - spacer kits stress the original coils, cause alignment headaches, and accelerate fatigue of the factory springs and shocks. If you want to get maximum performance out of your FJC, save your money until you can afford to do it right - use an adjustable coilover instead of a spacer...JMO

I couldn't agree with you more! I have been down that road with my old Tacoma.
