Re: DEMELLO vs ROAD ARMOR

These are Apples and Oranges - one is small, the other is well... far from small. I also don't understand the "more protection for the front end" p.o.v. - if you hit the front end hard enough that you need more protection offered by the Demello, you've just deployed airbags, buckled the frame, fenders, hood, etc.

It seems to be about looks - which, of course, is fine. Both hold a winch. Both have tow points. But one is sleek... the other is well... not

i mentioned it because the RA bumper (w/titan guard) wraps around to encompass the front corners, whereas the DO 3-hoop stops at the turn signals. i was not thinking about head-on collisions in my comment. i like the look of both, but i went with the DO 3-hoop. both products get a lot of praise, but when it comes to the people behind the products, i hear a lot more from and about the DO crew...all good!

Re: DEMELLO vs ROAD ARMOR

I have both the bumper and sliders from demello...Reconsider if you live in an area with salted roads. Both the bumper and sliders have accumulated alot of rust...disapointed in demello products thus far.

Re: DEMELLO vs ROAD ARMOR

here are some pics of the bumpers i was debating over...i ultimately chose the Demello for several reasons. Of all three manufacturers, Demello is the easiest to consistently get into contact with. I have a set of Expedition One sliders and they are made really well. all three make quality products.

Expedition One Diamond(back?) Bull Bar

Road Armor w/ Titan Guard

Demello Offroad 3-hoop Plate Bumper

Re: DEMELLO vs ROAD ARMOR

flo..thats what i was needing..i am very impressed with demellos rep, and high praise. i work in the city, but spend as much time in the country as i can..as of right now, my thinking is pretection..either form an idiot city dweller, or country native....the ra shows to protect more of the whole front.....damn, they both look good...jason demellos rep just seems to outway an appearance

What gap??

Theres a gap in the middle so you have access to the top of your winch. But you can have one made with out. (I should have but I changed my mind after)

I dont think the approach angel is much different. I know all Road Armor owners love the bumper. Id wait and see both in person b-4 you make a decision.

just inquiring beacause the images on their website look not very well lined up with the bumper and lights. like you said see it in person. im in still in the market i have a feeling mine aint lasting to much longer.
