I bought the same compressor from them months ago, it arrived completely bent and broken, missing parts, and all messed up. I REALLY had to fight with them to make it right. Months later (after a ton of emails/calls/fighting) they finally sent me another compressor, which works OK, but is still really beat up and obviously used (which is a real bummer because i was bidding on a unit described as being brand new).

You mileage may vary, just wanted to give you all a heads up.

It will be interesting to see how it works out then.

Picked up an MF1050 from Pep Boys ($6?.00), mounted it under the hood... works great so far.

"Without boxes" sometimes means it's salvaged mechandise. Usually the boxes get water damage from a fire and look terrible. Repackaging is very expensive so it's cheaper for an insurance company to sell to a salvor.

Just got mine from Pep Boys about 20 minutes ago for the same price, brand new in the box.

I have the same compressor, and I think I am on my 3rd or 4th one thanks to Costco's return policy

I use it to fill my air tank at 120psi, so I think that is why the first couple failed. Now I put a one way valve at the exit so there won't be as much back pressure going into the compressor. My last one is still going strong even after 7 months
