I am humbled, thank you.

Re: Demello Front Bumper Thread

Very nice but, I'll wait for a smaller diameter tube bumper - with shackle plates, and lots of airflow around the winch with little flat mounting plates for lights that don't block the grill. One thing is certain the stock bumper is ugly and has to go.

Holy crap FJ #8, read the thread already. I'd say search... but...

Demello: THIS BUMPER RULES. Make it for the 06 Tacoma and I'll take it. Sooner if you can keep it under $599. I don't have any problem with the DO in the front either... Being able to stamp DO in the back end of whomever cuts me off will ROCK! I don't so much care about it being powder-coated. If it's cheaper to get naked, I'll take it naked.

Did you sell your soul to satan to be able to build such incredibly badass products? Who even cares... what's better than an FJ or a Taco? AN EVIL FJ OR TACO!

Valkyrie: The spread on you in the new 4wd and Toyota Owners is badass. Nice rig man. Probably the best article in the current issue.
Thanks Percy! No soul for sale here I just make what I think looks good and hope you all will like it

Are the lights on this bumper angled out??
Yes these ones were. They are more of a rock light then a fog light but smaller fog light type lights would fit there also. If you have ever wheeled on the trail at night and someone is trying to spot you, there is nothing worse than head lights in there eye's but if you turn them off you can't see anything. So these are meant to replace your head lights while night crawlin. But if you want fog lights they would fit there also.

Thanks. Yeah, I understand the function but may have to see more pics to decide how a fog might look in there. Are there tabs on the hoop for driving lights, or are holes pre-tapped into the top for add'l lights?

Gotta say, out of all the bumpers I've seen so far this appears to be the best looking design - the "wings" align perfectly with the leading edge of the flares. Nice! However, I'm a sucker for function as well, so has it been tested with a full load on a winch yet? Was a winch test fit during the design and if so, which model? Any crush tests performed or anything of the sort? can you post up some more detailed photos of the skidplate area? I may have missed all this detailed info (just call me a dumbass if I did ), but have you settled on a price yet?

Nice work!!

The 8000warn is what we use to test fit the bumper. and there should be room for a little bit bigger winch.
No crush test were done on this bumper.
We have done no pull test but we built it strong enough to pull the truck the winch mounts are all 1\4in thick and rise up the inside of the bumper.

Anymore questions let me know.

Re: Demello Front Bumper Thread

When can we expect the waitlist to start? Are you going to build them on an order basis or wait until you get a few orders and make a bunch? Just wondering how much time I have to save up in order to get one on my FJ.

My plan was to get a few base style bumpers in stock before we start building them. But demand has been so great for them so far we might start taking orders as soon as next week. It will be at least 2-4 weeks before we get some out.
So to answer your question, all I can say at this point is stay tunned we will annouce it once we have finalized everything.
